Kids raise funds for Moore families

ALPHARETTA, Ga. Sweet Apple Elementary School students Cameron Koporc and Lily Picquet were deeply troubled when they learned that all student victims of the deadly Moore, Okla., tornado were, like them, third-graders. Just this year, Cameron and Lily had huddled together in their own school as tornado sirens wailed of approaching danger in Roswell.

The girls decided to start their summer with a lemonade stand fundraiser to help relief efforts. With support from the Edenwilde neighborhood swim coaches, the girls set up a doughnut and lemonade stand at a morning practice and raised over $400. Cameron and Lily are thrilled with the success of their stand and want to continue to "give Moore."
