ROSWELL, Ga. The STAR Student Celebration, an annual breakfast event sponsored by the Midtown Atlanta Rotary Club, was held Feb. 26 and honored Fellowship Christian School senior Catherine Council for the highest SAT score in Fellowship's senior class.

Council is the daughter of Ward and Mary Catherine Council of Marietta. The acronym STAR stands for Student Teacher Achievement Recognition, and in keeping with that, Council chose FCS AP Calculus teacher Bethany Topham to accompany her to the ceremony. Council told the gathering she will attend Georgia Tech and study aeronautical engineering.

In addition to her academic achievements and success, Council is a member of the varsity girls' soccer team, National Honor Society, Beta Club and Spanish Honor Society.
