Tencarva acquires Southern Sales Co.

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Tencarva Machinery Company, which has Alpharetta and Macon branch offices and a Savannah warehouse of its GPM Industries Division, has acquired the assets of Southern Sales Company, based in Nashville, Tenn.

Tencarva, a Greensboro, N.C.–based company that is a distributor of pumps, pumping systems, fluid handling systems and related products, acquired the assets of Southern Sales Company, a municipal sales and service organization.

Former owners and officers of Southern Sales joining Tencarva include Bill Allen as vice president of municipal sales and Ed Guffee as general manager of the Southern sales division. All of the 26 employees of Southern Sales have been offered positions with Tencarva.
