The nine-day promotion will showcase the outstanding cuisine of the area's best restaurants that will each offer a special, prix-fixe or discounted menu option. The event will fuse international and local flavors and ingredients while encouraging consumers to explore, eat and enjoy in Roswell's historic district. Last year, the inaugural year, 17 restaurants took part and all but one returned for the second year. "We've seen 30 percent growth over last year," said Johnson. "The restaurants saw the value." Most of the restaurants are located in Roswell's historic district. During the bulk of the year, Canton Street sees many festivals and activities, such as Alive After Five, but there is not a lot going on in the winter months. "The timing of the event is perfect. We want more people to come out and eat and experience other restaurants they wouldn't otherwise experience," Johnson said. "We really want to build awareness of the breadth of cuisine Roswell offers."
