This program is a father involvement initiative of the National Center of Fathering (NCF).
It organizes fathers and father figures to provide positive male role models for students and to enhance school security.
Keith Spolan, one of the first CCES fathers participating in the program, said that he joined the program to be more present in his children's lives and to see what they see on a daily basis. Spolan said this program will make an impact in their lives and in his own.
Dads will help with classroom support, car pools and bus duty.
CCES kicked off the program with a pizza party with 100 fathers participating.
"We are so excited to have more male role models at CCES," said George Freiberger, CCES principal. "Many fathers have made this a priority, and it is so important for their children to see them involved at their school. This is a perfect example of families and schools working together to benefit our children."
