Johns Creek girl appears in Horizon’s ‘Madeline’s Christmas’

ATLANTA – Horizon Theatre, in collaboration with the Atlanta Children's Theatre Company, will present the fifth anniversary production of "Madeline's Christmas." Based on Ludwig Bemelmans' classic book, this family-friendly musical features 24 adorable girls performing alongside professional actors to fill the holidays with laughter, magic and Madeline.

This year, Johns Creek's own Sophia Nettuno, a sixth-grader at Rivers Academy, will play the role of Kate, one of Madeline's friends. Nettuno was selected from a pool of over 100 children who auditioned for this year's production. After two months of acting, music and dance rehearsals, Nettuno will take the stage along with the production's Green Cast Dec. 8-30.

Performances of "Madeline's Christmas" are weekends at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., with special holiday week show times. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children. Tickets, information and Green Cast performance dates are available at horizontheatre.com or 404-584-7450.
