Woodward North student competes in 7th triathlon

Woodward North’s Samantha Humphrey is all smiles after competing in the Alpharetta IronKids event.
JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – Woodward North sixth-grader Samantha Humphrey has competed in seven career triathlons. She recently competed in her fourth IronKids event, finishing 12th in her division.

With her strong finish, Humphrey helped her team Multisport Explosion – an Alpharetta-based youth triathlon team – to a first-place finish overall.

Last weekend, Humphrey finished sixth in the 11-12-year-old division of the Tri for Tourettes, a triathlon raising awareness and funding for Camp Twist and Shout at Camp Twin Lakes.

She was the third place finisher for 11-year-olds.
