JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — The 10U Pisgah Patriots baseball team of Johns Creek won the championship in their two baseball tournaments this fall — the Sharon Springs Shootout in early October and the Battle at Coal Mountain on Oct. 28. The Battle at Coal Mountain was comprised of eight teams, the majority formed just a few years ago, with the 10U Patriots being a new team at just 3 months old. The day started early in the morning with cold temperatures, rain, wind and a group of boys that stayed strong and played well into the evening to win the championship.
