"I am so proud of the amazing cast and crew of 'Mother Hicks' for their state championship performance," said Renee Denney, the director. "I am so blessed to be supported by amazing students, parents and the best co-workers — Sim Jones (technical director) and Larry Smith (director) that anyone could ever ask for." This marks Milton's second year as state champion in the GHSA AAAAAA Conference. Earlier this year, Milton also won the Georgia Theatre Conference with their production of "Pippin," scheduled to compete at the Southeastern Theatre Conference in March. Next up for Milton Theatre Department will be The December Show, featuring singing, dancing and sketch comedy. The show will have two performances on Dec. 6 – 7, both at 7 p.m. |
