The tournament included teams from Cherokee, Cobb, Forsyth, Douglas, Fulton, Gwinnett and Paulding counties. In a back and forth final game with the Sharks from Oregon Park, Thunder pitching and solid defense kept the game close.
The winning run crossed the plate in the bottom of the 6th, giving the Sharks a 5-4 win.
