CUMMING, Ga. — Three men accused of taking part in a home invasion robbery in Cumming are in custody.

Yusef Davis, 26, and Robert Nash, 21, were arrested last week while Shaeem McLaren, 21, had been taken into custody earlier this month. All three men are Cumming residents.

The violent home invasion and robbery took place in Adair Park Oct. 9, said Sgt. Bryan Zimbardi, a spokesman for the Cumming Police Department.

"At this time, Cumming Police Department investigators believe that all the perpetrators associated with the home invasion have been arrested," Zimbardi said.

Zimbardi said support and awareness of the community and anonymous tips helped investigators.

Forsyth County Sheriff's deputies assisted in bringing the men into custody.

The accused are in Forsyth County Detention Center on felony charges of theft by taking, burglary with intent to commit a theft and armed robbery, Zimbardi said.

Bond has not been set for any of the men.

Zimbardi said about 3:30 p.m. Oct. 9, the men pulled up in a white Honda in the Adair Park subdivision off Sawnee Drive. Two of the men then forcibly entered the home.

Items taken in the armed robbery included a PlayStation 3, iPod, iPhone, nearly $300 cash and a half-gram of marijuana.

The home's resident told police he was held at gunpoint and pistol whipped while the home was ransacked.

Zimbardi said that it's unclear who had the semi-automatic pistol.

Zimbardi said witness accounts helped solve the case.
