Remove ImagesPAL Plans Scare Fair, Haunted House October 24, 2012 ALPHARETTA, Ga. - A community Haunted House will take place in downtown Alpharetta Friday, Oct. 26, and Saturday, Oct. 27. at the PAL gym. The PAL gym is located behind 2 South Main Street, Alpharetta City Hall. On Friday, the Haunted House will take place from 7-10 p.m., as police officers and firefighters dress up to deliver the frights. Concessions will be available for a nominal fee. On Saturday, the event will begin at 5 p.m. Patrons may also try their luck at some challenging games. A Halloween costume contest for two different age groups will take place at 6 p.m. so patrons are encouraged to wear their cutest, scariest, or most original costumes for a chance to win cash prizes. The haunted house will reopen on Saturday at 7 p.m. and remain open until 10 p.m. Admission is $5 per person. There is free admission for children under 6 years old. All proceeds from the Haunted House will help support Alpharetta PAL and for use of a new Alpharetta PAL building. Alpharetta PAL is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit community based outreach organization created to provide a variety of services to the youth of North Fulton County while at the same time establishing a bond of mutual respect, understanding and trust with the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.
