One more thing, all those turf fields that the county high schools are so happy with, just happen to be fields manufactured and installed by the LOW bidder Sprinturf! Roswell HS just finished its 10th year on their Sprinturf field. The industry average life span is only 8 years. This shoots down the staff's recommendation that NC based Medallion is providing a "better product". The fiber that the Medallion turf will be manufactured with is from a company that is in the middle of a $30 million law suit for fields that have failed. "Better Product", it can be proven that it is NOT.
Let's keep GA tax dollars in GA!
