I have known Chief Orrick for over 15 years and know him to be one of the most responsible, respected and reasonable Chief of Police in this nation. As with many quality Chiefs, Dwayne is the object of a strong police culture that is unwilling to accept that accountability is a standard in policing and that those with high unquestionable ethics will adhere to those standards even in the face of political objection. Roswell has lost a quality individual that would have been an asset to the community for many years.
