Why were charges degraded from a "sexual" battery to a simple battery? Did the accuser change his/her story? Was there video or were their witnesses to the event?
We are all naturally inclined to rush to the defense of a defenseless minor and make conclusions without all the evidence up front, and the vast majority of the time the accusations are true. But it doesn't negate the fact that some adults have had their lives ruined by false accusations and being charged for something that didn't happen.
