John Ripley Forbes, and his legacy of preservation of natural pl August 06, 2012 | 11:32 AM
Thank you for your singular and spot on coverage of this fascinating man through the new and very well written biography by Gary Ferguson. Your article hit the greatness of his life and why hisefforts matter so much to us now. I am so pleased we have his last crowning achievement in our city of Sandy Springs.. The 30 acre John Ripley Forbes Big Trees Forest Preserve. I hope this article will encourage many more families and others in search of peace and serenity to visit. He would want that... the visit into nature that is. Hope many can read the book as well.
