Just because there are more renters recently, it does not follow that this is by choice.
Property ownership is the cornerstone of our nation. Take away home ownership and we step back into feudalism.
Though the "renter nation" narrative has been pushed through the media and by public policy (tax by inflation and job depletion), I am happy to see that recent trends don't seem to view home ownership as a shackle but as a cornerstone of freedom.
The political class should not be creating a climate such that people are pushed toward renting anymore than they should be pushing easy home ownership.
