Forsyth County Needs A New School Board
Get Out and Vote!

So many issues are currently facing our parents, students and teachers in Forsyth County. The citizens need a new school board to call their own. For too long we have had rubberstamping going on by administration and the current majority of the school board.

The citizens have spoken loudly and clearly that we do not want the 123 Grading System and we do not want apologists for the 1 2 3 Grading system on our School Board. Many people have stated that the 1 2 3 grading breeds mediocrity in our students. Our students and teachers are NOT mediocre but this grading system needs to be abolished wholly and completely so that we will have students ready for the real world.

We can no longer accept a school board that now claims we have 9+ million dollar budget deficit in the 13th wealthiest county in the nation. Somebody should have and could have tightened our belts up all these years. Now we will be facing an increase in property taxes because of Overspending, plain and simple.

We must do better to retain our wonderful educators. We can no longer accept a school board that does not pay attention to our poor teacher retention rates. If our teachers are happy, the parents and students are happy. Period.

And we can no longer accept a school board that wants to keep the parents at arms length and at odds when major decisions need to be made - like redistricting.

We also must have a school district that accepts and teaches all students, regardless of ability, teach them to be the best they can be and accept all students with open arms at every school.

Please get out and vote.

Electing Responsible School Board Members

I live in Richmond Cty so as to the worst school district and it's person's I have to say we are the worst. I have followed for many months the concerns of alot of person's in your county of Forsyth and for the nay sayers if you don't vote for a change and a group of citizen's who really have the heart of your children at the very core of them. You won't be able to blame anyone but yourselves. Wake up Forsyth don't let what is happening to our children in Richmond County happen to yours!! We have a HUGE debt, new property tax increases coming, this school board waste millions of dollars every day. By you taking a stand and voting with your conscious it might just wake up the other parents to do what they need to do also-get rid of the corruption in our school's.
