What you seem to have missed about John McCain

I appreciate your interest in my comments.
But you seem to have missed several points.
John McCain did not earn the vast wealth he now gets to enjoy. He married an heiress. Then he used her money and connections to get elected to the Senate. I don't see how this relates to "drive and determination" or the "American Dream".
While it true that we are exhorted by the Bible not to judge people, it is the nature of choosing a president that we must judge who would make the best president. I think the Biblical passage relates more to how we treat our friends and neighbors, and less to how we vote in elections.
And finally, while everyone respects and admire's John McCain's heroic activities as a POW forty some years ago, it really does nothing to qualify him as president. I respect and admire many people who I would not support as a presidential candidate. The POW card has been drawn too many times.

Maybe your right saying that McCain's vast wealth was his wifes. But its not like the man was unemployed that entire time. Be real this is a man who has served in the United States Navy until 1981 recieiving the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Legion of Merit, Purple Heart, and the Distinguished Flying Cross. Also those of you who are saying that being a POW doesnt qualify you to take the highest office in the land are not getting it.
It shows the dedication and honor that this man has. He has also served in the senate much longer than his opponent who has ZERO stories to tell. Oh I am mistaken he has stories like the pastor who preaches hate or the man he made deals with thats now serving a prison sentence. Everyone should look at the facts, do the math and you will end up with President McCain!
