Tom Price praises Joe Wilson
September 11, 2009 | 11:15 AM Here is a quote from the Washington Post regarding a political rally yesterday.
Nearby, LaRouchies displayed a large poster of Obama with a Hitler mustache. Several GOP lawmakers, including Boehner, were on the stage. "Last night, we heard our president address our country," said Eric Cantor (Va.), the House Republican whip. There was a chorus of boos. A woman shouted out, "Liar, liar, pants on fire."
Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.), leader of House conservatives, invoked Samuel Adams: "It doesn't take a majority to prevail, but an irate and tireless minority keen on setting brush fires of freedom in the minds of men. Thank you so much for setting those brush fires."
Why does Tom Price support this type of inflamatory rhetoric? He needs to go back to his medical practice.

"Does this start to look a little incestuous? One blue blog cites another blue blog, which got its story from yet another blog? And none of them links to the actual source of Rep Price's quote! It took us five minutes with The Google to find the original source for this quote. Would you be surprised to learn that Rep Price was not praising Joe Wilson? That contrary to Ellen's allegation he did not "praise Wilson's tactics"? The statement Brodsky based her article on was Rep Price speaking to a rally of tax protesters, thanking them for their efforts. He wasn't talking to Joe Wilson. He wasn't talking about Joe Wilson. Joe Wilson wasn't even there."
Hard to Say He's Sorry

How sad that Rep. Price is choosing to embrace this partisanship instead of standing up to it. These people are so bitter that they cannot even discuss the particulars of ensuring that Americans can see a doctor when they get sick, before it gets deadly serious, and without losing everything they worked for their whole lives. Shouting over others who are talking is no way to solve anything. Is that REALLY the best they can do? What a shame for all of us.
