Courtesy of Second Wind Dreams, she was given a fashionable new outfit from head to toe. Her favorite restaurant, O'Charley's, provided gift certificates for when she gets the chance to head out for a meal.
Farquar's family joined in presenting her dreams to her.
For more than 10 years, Second Winds Dreams has made its mission to fulfill dreams nationwide for those who are among the most forgotten in society: residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities. It has been involved in 235 facilities in 40 states, Canada and India.
