JOHNS CREEK - The city turned two-years-old Dec. 1, marking the day with a whole week's worth of events to celebrate. From the annual Holiday Lights, to arts and crafts at the Johns Creek Arts Center, the city's celebration culminated Dec. 6 with its annual Founders Day parade.
Making their first appearance this year, the Johns Creek Police and Fire departments led the parade and Santa was spotted on the back of a fire truck. School groups, Boy Scouts, Brownies, Shriners and local leaders made the mile-long walk on State Bridge Road.
