Eric A. Ross, a senior at Milton High School, was recently named to the primary selection list of the Super Y League National Olympic Development Program.
Ross was selected while playing for the Atlanta Silverbacks Super Y team this past summer, coached by Sean Estep. This distinguishes Ross as one of the top 2 percent of all players in the country participating in the Super Y League for his age group. The selection list is forwarded to more than 500 college programs as well as the coaching staff of the United States Soccer Federation for further consideration for the US National Soccer Team Program.
"It was a great reflection of Eric's play on the field as well as the leadership skills he showed as captain of the Silverbacks," said Estep. "Eric was tremendously instrumental in the team's overall success this season."
