Teen accused of stabbing in Roswell

ROSWELL - Roswell police arrested a 15-year-old female Centennial High School student Nov. 23 for allegedly stabbing a 16-year-year-old classmate during a fight the day before at the Centennial Ridge Apartments on Calibre Creek Parkway.

According to the incident report, when the suspect was arrested, she reportedly had a razor blade in her bra and allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana two hours before. Police said she was a frequent runaway, as well.

The victim told officers she'd been invited to the neighborhood by a friend. When she arrived, she and the suspect - reportedly carrying a knife and metal pole of some kind - allegedly got into a fight. The victim was taken to North Fulton Regional hospital for cuts to her hands and face.

She told police she escaped by jumping into her friend's car.

The suspect was gone when police arrived, but was picked up the next day when an officer pulled over her sister on Holcomb Bridge Road for having an expired tag. She was a passenger.

According to the report, the victim allegedly admitted to attacking the victim. She was taken to the Metro Youth Detention Center.

Correction ran

We ran a correction in a later edition that should be uploaded soon. We were contacted by school officials who told us the suspect was a former Centennial student who no longer attends that school. This contridicted what was in the police report (which did not give the suspect's name due to her being a juvenile).

Everything in this piece is taken directly from police reports.

The 15 year old who attacked my daughter does NOT go to Centennial High School. And there was no "fight", there were words between them and then she began stabbing my daughter.
