The Alpharetta Police Athletic/Activities League (Alpharetta PAL) will host its 2nd Annual 5K/1 mile fun walk on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Northwinds Parkway in Alpharetta.
This year's title sponsor is Jackson Healthcare and the event will include a family fun area with healthy ideas displays. The event will start in the parking lot of the Jackson Healthcare corporate office. All donations and sponsorships are tax-deductible.
Alpha PAL is a 501c3 nonprofit community based outreach organization created to provide a variety of services to Alpharetta's youth while establishing a bond of mutual respect, understanding and trust with the Alpharetta Police.
The 5K benefit run is the main fundraiser for Alpharetta PAL and provides the money needed to continue the youth programs. Sponsors are still needed for the event.
