M. Lauch McKinnon,
Chairman, President and CEO
Lauch McKinnon is president and chief executive officer of RockBridge. He has more than 35 years of professional banking experience, virtually all of which have been in banking or banking-related enterprises. Most recently, McKinnon was president and CEO of the Bank of Hiawassee in Hiawassee. He also served as the president and CEO of Volunteer Bank and Trust Co. in Chattanooga, Tenn., where he successfully led the development and implementation of the reorganization plan that restored the bank's asset quality and returned it to profitability. Afterward, he was the organizing president and CEO for North Georgia National Bank in Calhoun, which opened successfully in 1999.
He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Guilford College and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. Lauch is also a graduate of the Georgia Bankers Association CEO Academy and is a member of the Regulation & Taxation Committee of the Community Bankers Association of Georgia.
