Twelve Forsyth County students won awards at the Georgia Educational Technology Fair recently at West Forsyth High School.
Statewide, 445 students, representing 355 projects, competed at the Fair. Forsyth County had 25 students to participate. Local winners include the following students.
• First Place winners are: Will Craven of Settles Bride Elementary, Non-Multimedia Apps; Kevin Kaufman-Ortiz of Piney Grove Middle, Robotics; Aaron Strickland of Mashburn Elementary, Tech Literacy Challenge; Pritesh Patel of Forsyth Central High, Hardware; Christopher Collins of North Forsyth High, Tech Literacy Challenge; Matthew Sterritt of South Forsyth High, Individual Programming Challenge.
• Second Place winners are: Anirudh Bikmal of Big Creek Elementary, Project Programming; Chase Hintz of Cumming Elementary, Robotics; Joshua Dotson of Liberty Middle, Project Programming; Saum Roodehchi of Piney Grove Middle, Robotics.
• Third Place winners are: Caroline Bourneuf of Mashburn Elementary, Internet/Intranet; Dakoda Neilson, Riverwatch Middle, Internet/Intranet.
