Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB) recently recognized the organizations and individuals who have gone above and beyond to help further the group's mission of improving beautification, reducing litter and encouraging recycling.
Keep Forsyth County Beautiful works with government, businesses, schools, civic organizations and citizens to help maintain a clean and beautiful community. Volunteers are essential to the county's beautification and can take part in a variety of programs. These include Adopt-A-Road, Adopt-A-Stream, electronics recycling and more.
"We are fortunate to have a very dedicated group of volunteers participate in our ongoing events and programs," Environmental Program Manager Tammy Wright said. "However, we are always looking for additional volunteers. Projects such as Adopt-A-Road offer an outstanding opportunity for families and organizations to make a direct, visible and positive impact on their community while spending quality time together."
