May 07, 2008 Annual Dinner Theatre at Centennial High
"Dinner Theatre," an annual production written and directed by Centennial High School students, will be performed on May 14 at 7 p.m. at the school.
The play has been a tradition at Centennial since the school opened in 1997 – a testament to its creativity and success. In its 11th year, it continues to prove popular among students, parents, and faculty, who enjoy the great food, good fun, and lots of laughs. This year Outback Steakhouse has signed on as a sponsor and will be providing a three-course meal, served by student waiters who are also part of the show.
This year's full-length play, "Making an Awesome Band: Behind the...Murder!" was co-written by students Alia Guidry, Andrew Rose, Alex Van Der Hoek and Vicky Lavender. It centers on a spoof reality TV show called "Making an Awesome Band" and its eccentric and entertaining cast members.
Though a truly hilarious comedy at heart, Dinner Theatre is always a murder mystery, and this year is no exception. Come and enjoy trying to find out who the murderer is. If you guess right, you may get a prize! Come support dedicated theatre students and have a great dinner as well.
The cost for dinner and the show is $20. For tickets call 770-650-4230, or purchase them at the Centennial High Main Office at 9310 Scott Road in Roswell. Seating is limited.
