| | | (click for larger version) | | February 29, 2008 ALPHARETTA -- The FBI's Atlanta office and Alpharetta police are seraching for two individuals who robbed the SunTrust Bank on Windward Parkway at gunpoint.
The FBI reports that at approximately 10:15 a.m. Friday, Feb. 29, two individuals described as being in their mid-20s entered the SunTrust branch at 5305 Windward Parkway, Alpharetta and announced a robbery.
The first robber, brandishing a pump action shotgun, jumped over the teller counter and robbed three of the bank tellers. The second suspect, brandishing a handgun, covered the lobby and remainder of the bank during the robbery.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, robber No. 1 jumped back over the teller counter and both robbers left the bank.
The suspects were observed departing in a newer model Sports Utility Vehicle, either white or silver in color. While the robbers repeatedly shouted threats and demands, no shots were fired and no injuries were reported.

Robber No. 2 is described as: Black male in his mid 20s, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, medium build, wearing bright, multi-colored shirt, blue jeans rolled up at bottom, black bandana over face.
