Georgia Speaker Pro Tem Mark Burkhalter of Johns Creek, and Jimmy Barry, constituent and Kennesaw State University ice hockey player, meet on the ice. Burkhalter supported House Resolution 649, which recognized KSU as National Champions of ACHA Divsion III last season. Barry was a star player on the team. The Fighting Ice Owls thanked Burkhalter for his support by inviting him out for a ceremonial puck drop Nov. 10 at the Towncenter Ice Forum, KSU's home rink.
