Fulton County police report a 25-year-old woman was beaten in the face with a handgun at her Pine Bridge Trail home Jan. 12.
According to a report of the incident, the woman was sitting on her back porch when a man with dreadlocks wearing dark clothing grabbed her and threw her on a bed in the basement. He pistol-whipped her repeatedly, sending her to Emory Johns Creek Hospital.
The victim's boyfriend told police he believes a man he thinks is a former or current Northview High School student is involved.
The boyfriend said the man called him several minutes prior to the attack. In addition, several of the woman's family members saw a silver Mistubishi occupied by four men just prior to the attack. When the victim's boyfriend tried to approach the car, it sped off toward Jones Bridge Road, according to the report.
There was no motive for the attack listed in the incident report.
