December 19, 2007 Not sure what to do with your Christmas tree after the holidays? Keep North Fulton Beautiful will offer a solution to the problem and participants even get to go home with a gift.
The annual Christmas Tree Exchange will be held in Johns Creek Jan. 5 at the Home Depot store, 5950 State Bridge Road (or any Home Depot location), offered by Keep North Fulton Beautiful.
Residents are asked to bring in their Christmas tree and will receive a seedling in exchange. The trees will be chipped into mulch and used for public beautification projects. The exchange is available free to all North Fulton residents.
Keep Georgia Beautiful and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs joined with sponsors The Home Depot, WXIA TV and the Davey Tree Expert Company as part of a statewide effort to reuse Christmas trees.
