December 19, 2007 At its Dec. 13 meeting Milton Council:
** Approved on Webb Road a 140-square-foot, two-story general and medical office building at a maximum building height of 30 feet. As part of the agreement, applicant John McMillan agreed to match nearby Sembler Development's Deerfield Place by adding an equestrian-style, four-board fence, stamped sidewalks and decorative lighting on the property and restricted sewer to only the piece of land that abuts Ga. 9. The building was proposed at four stories.
** Approved on Webb Road a 5,700-square-foot restaurant and a three-story, climate-controlled storage facility that gives the appearance of being two stories. It will stand no more than 32 feet. As part of the agreement, applicant Ken Morton agreed to the same sidewalk, fencing and lighting improvements as Sembler Development and McMillan.
** Approved on Deerfield Parkway a 23,000-square-foot, three-story office building. As part of the deal the applicant, Charter Global Inc., agreed to pay for inter-parcel access improvements and less parking spaces to guard against an encroachment into the buffer.
** In addition, council man Rick Mohrig withdrew the resolution regarding reimbursement of legal fees for council members charged with ethics violations determined to be unfounded.
