• Army Pvt. Clay A. Maynard has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Larry and Cindy Maynard of Alpharetta, and a 2003 graduate of Milton High School.

• Air Force Airman John M. Krolak has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of John and Brenda Krolak of Alpharetta, and a 2007 graduate of Milton High School.

After Basic Training John, Jr transfered to Brooks AFB in San Antonio, TX where he did his schooling in Bioenvironmental Engineering. After a short visit back to Alpharetta for Christmas he was stationed in Odgen, Utah. John is enjoying his job and his studies.
