In anticipation of the Dec. 1 "Founders Day" celebration in Johns Creek, CH2M Hill OMI, the private consulting firm that provides most of the administrative and operating services for the city, gave a $2,000 check to both Johns Creek award-winning, public high school music departments.

Chattahoochee and Northview students will perform, as well as coordinate performances by 10 other Johns Creek schools for various activities on different stages throughout the day.

"CH2M Hill OMI is pleased to support these two outstanding music programs in recognition of their continual pursuit of excellence, both for the Founders Day celebration, as well as through their ongoing programs. Their talent and contributions greatly enrich the Johns Creek community of which we're proud to be a part," said CH2M Hill OMI Regional Vice President Rick Hirsekorn.

Hill will also participate in a city staff float in the Founders Day Parade, a first for the new city, the 10th largest in Georgia.
