The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bernarr Giles, Jr. of Alpharetta. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie George of Darien, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bernarr Giles, Sr. of Ft. Gaines. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Adrian Gillespie of Dunwoody. He is the grandson of Mrs. Albert Harold Swanson and the late Albert Harold Swanson of Atlanta, formerly of Omaha, Neb, and the late James Adrian Gillespie, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. James Pendleton Sewell of Grantville.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Allison Rose Giles of Kennesaw and Stephanie Lynn Giles of Carrollton served as their sister's maids of honor. Jay's father served as best man.
Following a honeymoon to Samba Vallarta, Mexico, the couple reside in Boca Raton, Fla.
