January 21, 2011 Mr. and Mrs. Michael D. Barker of Johns Creek are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Sarah Elizabeth Barker to Joshua Derrell Cook, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim D. Cook of Lithia Springs, Ga.
Miss Barker is a 2006 graduate of Northview High School and a 2010 graduate of Mercer University. She is a special education teacher at Covenant Academy in Macon, Ga.
Mr. Cook is a 2006 graduate of Chapel Hill High School and a 2010 business graduate of Mercer University. He is employed at Ingleside Baptist Church in Macon, Ga.
A March 19 wedding is planned at the Chapel at Perimeter Church with a Caribbean cruise honeymoon. They will reside in Macon, Ga. until August when they plan to move to New Orleans for graduate school at New Orleans Baptist Seminary. View images.
