December 17, 2010 CUMMING - A horse bit a Forsyth County Sheriff's deputy prior to the Cumming Christmas Parade Dec. 4.
Deputy Christopher Hudson was closing the roof vents of the mounted patrol horse trailer, when Sherman, the horse, reacted defensively and bit the deputy in the face.
Hudson was treated at Northside Hospital-Forsyth and released back to work, "without restrictions." The report stated the bite was defensive in nature, "as the horse mistakenly thought Hudson was another horse."
