Alpharetta - A house on Ash Rill Drive in Alpharetta was raided by Federal officers on the afternoon of Friday, Dec. 10.
Both Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials were at a home that neighbors said was vacant. The previous tenant moved out just a few weeks prior, after living there for less than a year.
Special Agent Chuvalo Truesdell, a spokesman for the DEA, said his department was assisting ICE in the operation when a "methamphetamine conversion lab" was discovered. That's when the DEA's Clandestine Laboratory Team was called in to handle the lab.
