On Feb. 4 Roswell officers pulled over a Ford Expedition on Alpharetta Street (Hwy 9) for having its windows tinted darker than legally allowed. It was so dark that when officers approached the vehicle, they could not see inside.
The driver, Luis Perez-Liborio, 22, of Atlanta, was found to not have a license and placed under arrest.
While Perez-Liborio was being escorted to the patrol car, the arresting officer's police dog was sent to sniff around the vehicle. The canine signaled there were drugs in the vehicle. Upon searching the car, officers found a kilo of cocaine under one of the seats, worth tens of thousands of dollars.
Perez-Liborio and one of the passengers in the vehicle, Luis Garcia-Gomez, 24, of an unknown address, was also arrested for trafficking cocaine.
