Water for the World race April 24 in Johns Creek

February 03, 2010 The Water for the World Road Race benefits the world for clean and safe water, enables others to serve here, there and everywhere, and helps with the needs of the community.
Contaminated water is the #1 cause of death in developing countries. The race will enable people to serve in the following ways: support orphanages, health care outreach, abstinence training, providing solar powered audio players for health and biblical training, establish and support food and soup kitchens and caring for elderly shut-ins.
The Water for the World 10K/10K run will be held at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, April 24 at Johns Creek Technology Park at the State Farm Building, 11350 Johns Creek Parkway, Johns Creek.
Fees: 10K & 5K is $22 through April 16, $27 after. Fun Run is $15 through April 16, $20 after. The Tot Trot is free. The Registration closing date is April 24. For more information, visit www.waterfortheworldrun.com.
