Greene graduates basic training
Army Pvt. Anthony J. Greene has graduated from One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Knox, Ky., which included basic combat training and advanced individual training (AIT).
He is the son of Juedey Bartlett of Boxford Place, Alpharetta, Ga., and Tiger Greene of Peachtree Road N.E., Atlanta. Greene graduated in 2005 from Chattahoochee High School, Alpharetta.
Cox completes basic
Navy Seaman Cody W. Cox, son of Karen L. Cox of Cumming and Ron J. Cox of Dawsonville, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training and was meritoriously promoted to his current rank at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
Cox is a 2009 graduate of Dawson County High School of Dawsonville.

Shepard graduated Army ROTC
Ryan D. Shepard has graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader’s Training Course at Fort Knox, Ky. The cadet is a student at North Georgia College and State University, Dahlonega.
Shepard is the son of David W. Shepard of Hembree Road, Roswell, Ga., and Annette M. Drack of Glenlake Drive N.W., Kennesaw, Ga.
He is a 2008 graduate of Kell High School, Marietta, Ga.
Delucia completes basic training
Navy Seaman Recruit Peter J. Delucia, a 1998 graduate of Milton High School, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
Danek graduates officer course
Second Lieutenant Troy Danek recently graduated the Adjutant General Basic Officer Leaders Course at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
Danek is a 2004 graduate of Chattahoochee High School and his parents are Geoffrey and Diane Danek of Johns Creek, Ga.
Linder receives Naval promotion
Navy Seaman Apprentice Phillip A. Lindner, son of Janet P. Lindner of Walworth, Wis. and Mark T. Lindner of Alpharetta, was recently promoted to his current rank upon graduation from recruit training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
Lindner received the early promotion for outstanding performance during all phases of the training cycle. Lindner is a 2009 graduate of Wekiva High School of Apopka, Fla.
Sheridan graduates from basic training
Air Force Airman Matthew C. Sheridan graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
He is the son of Philip Sheridan of Treesummit Parkway, Duluth, Ga., and Kathy Larson of Woodland Drive, Silver Spring, Md. Sheridan is a 2009 graduate of Duluth High School.
Mitchell graduates basic training
Army National Guard Pvt. Joshua E. Mitchell has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.
He is the son of Chunhui Mitchell of Deptford Drive., Duluth, Ga.
Mitchell is a 2009 graduate of Peachtree Ridge High School, Suwannee, Ga.
Banks graduates from ROTC course
Geoffrey D. Banks graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as “Operation Warrior Forge,” at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash. The cadet is a student at the Marion Military Institute in Alabama.
He is the son of Gladys B. and the stepson of Wendell McBurrows of Jade Cove Drive, Roswell, Ga.
Banks is a 2007 graduate of Independence High School, Alpharetta, Ga.
Wolfson graduates Army ROTC
Samuel A. Wolfson graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as “Operation Warrior Forge,” at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash.
The cadet is a student at North Georgia College and State University, Dahlonega. He is the son of Bruce L. and Janet K. Wolfson of Glenleigh Drive, Duluth, Ga.
Wolfson is a 2006 graduate of Northview High School, Duluth.
Keasler graduates basic training
Army Reserve Pvt. Ashley L. Keasler has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
She is the daughter of Monica Mangram of Buford, and Rodney Keasler of Simpsonville, S.C.
Keasler is a 2008 graduate of Chamblee High School,.
Hathaway finishes ROTC course
Alden M. Hathaway III graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as “Operation Warrior Forge,” at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash.
The cadet is a student at Clemson University, S.C. He is the son of Alden M. and Carol S. Hathaway of Village Estates Court.
