Holy Redeemer named Blue Ribbon School

November 04, 2009 Blue Bell Creameries honored Holy Redeemer Catholic School in Johns Creek, recently named a 2009 No Child Left Behind-Blue Ribbon School, with a school-wide ice cream party Oct. 9. Blue Bell truck treated all 560 students, teachers and staff members in the school.
Holy Redeemer Catholic School is one of only 12 schools in the entire state of Georgia to be named a 2009 Blue Ribbon School.
The U.S. Department of Education's Blue Ribbon Schools program has honored more than 5,800 of America's most successful schools for the past 26 years. Schools are selected and awarded this prestigious honor annually for two reasons – helping students achieve at very high levels and making significant progress in closing the achievement gap.
