Top chefs unite for Special Olympics benefit

November 04, 2009 Some of Atlanta's top chefs from the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group will lend their culinary talents to "Heroes for Heroes," a benefit dinner for Special Olympics Georgia, hosted by the Johns Creek Police Department, at Sia's Restaurant in Johns Creek on Sunday, Nov. 15.
Executive Chef Doug Turbush and Pastry Chef Lisa Smith from Bluepointe and Executive Chef Pano I. Karatassos from Kyma will join Sia's Executive Chef Rogerio Martins to create the five-course meal.
All proceeds from "Heroes for Heroes," will be donated to Special Olympics Georgia, a non-profit organization, which supports 22,000 intellectually challenged children and adults across the state.
