Resident lauded for green news

November 04, 2009 ATLANTA – At the recent Conserve Georgia award ceremony, Southeast Green of Atlanta won the 2009 Advocacy of the Year award from the Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia.
The award was presented to co-founders Sandra Cummins, a North Fulton resident, and Beth Bond by Gov. Sonny Perdue during a luncheon at the Loudermilk Center in downtown Atlanta.
This award honors the Champion Partner who excelled most in promoting and supporting Partner activities.
Southeast Green reached out to numerous organizations to encourage sustainability and to promote the Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia through their online green news publication, www.southeastgreen.com, which receives between 80,000 page views and 450,000 hits per month.
