WEB EXCLUSIVE: Suspect made off with computer equipment

Representatives from two Northwinds Parkway healthcare businesses contacted Alpharetta police Oct. 19 after a suspect stole more than $7,800 worth of computers while posing as a moving man.
According to the incident reports, the suspect hit the businesses Oct. 18. Employees said a man dressed in a mechanic's jumpsuit told them he was "moving stuff around." When police searched surveillance footage, he moved it all to his Chevrolet Suburban over the course of three hours and drove off.
One employee in the building said she believes the suspect might work for a mail or shredding business, as he seemed familiar.
