Brothers fought espite surgery
|
November 02, 2009 Johns Creek police came across a pretty weird tale Oct. 22 while investigating a domestic disturbance at the Summit on the River apartments.
According to the incident report, officers were looking for a man being chased by a woman in a black Mercedes Benz. As part of that investigation, an officer met with a man in the parking lot of building 10.
He told police his mother was chasing his brother. He then elaborated on the story, saying his mother had just brought him home from the hospital "due to him being in pain from a kidney transplant."
He said he'd been inside the apartment — which featured broken statues and a hole in the drywall, according to police – when all of a sudden he saw his brother chasing someone. Their mother then took off after him, he said.
When asked how the statues were broken and drywall damaged, the man said it was likely due to noise upstairs.
Officers caught up with the mother. She eventually came clean, they said, and admitted that her sons had gotten into a fight. The brother jumped out a sliding glass door at some point during the scuffle with his ailing sibling and took off. She chased him, she said.
Since no one would say who actually started the fight and the brother was gone, police let the matter go.
