Suspect: 'I am going to rob you all'

(click for larger version) | | November 02, 2009 ROSWELL — Roswell police arrested a 25-year-old Milton man and his 19-year-old girlfriend Oct. 23 after they robbed and threatened three people at the Seven Pines apartments.

(click for larger version) | | According to the incident report, Sarah Stephenson of Roswell was hanging out with the three victims when she called her boyfriend, Jimmy Simmons, to come over. According to the victims, when he arrived, he immediately got mad at one of them and began yelling at him.
He then turned to the three and reportedly said "OK, here's the deal. I am going to rob you all." Simmons then allegedly took $10 from one of the victims' purse.
They told Roswell police they didn't fight back because Simmons also said he had a gun.
After taking the cash, Simmons and Stephenson ran out the front door.
While police were talking with the victims, Simmons reportedly called back. He never admitted to anything, but offered to "make everything all right" if the victims would tell him what they "told the cops."
Simmons was arrested at a home on Goldenrod Drive in Alpharetta and charged with aggravated assault with intent to rob and one count of strong arm robbery. Stephens was charged with the same Crime, plus making terroristic threats.
At press time, both remained in Fulton County Jail. Simmons wasn't allowed bond, while Stephenson's bond was set at $65,000.
