She said the salon has the most comfortable European style shampoo bowls and styling chairs. Warm blankets and subokoee neck rests relieve the stress of the day. Big screen TV's, XM radio, snacks and beverages add to the setting.
"We are proud to be a Bumble and Bumble salon,"
Kirby said.
"We don't only take care of the ladies," she said. "We will have 'Man Monday's'."
Men can enjoy ESPN, hot wings, cold beverages, haircuts and hot shaves once a month, with dates to be announced.
Kirby and the staff plan to help the community, too. A battered women's shelter will be hosted at Christmas time, with the ladies and the children given the latest styles.
A special night will be hosted for local Mom's and their daughter's between the ages of 12 and 17. Deb Carpenter, a local Women's Health Certified Nurse Practitioner, will present "One Body, One Choice." The program is a straight talk forum to discuss sensitive subjects such as reproductive health, STD, eating disorders and much more. Questions can be submitted anonymously for this program..
Visit the salon at 3130 Mathis Airport Parkway, Suite 306 in South Forsyth. Call 770-888-3656 for appointments.
